Will insurance cover Invisalign?

Return to FAQs

Some dental insurance plans do include treatment with Invisalign as a covered benefit. The best way to determine whether your insurance does so is to contact your insurance company directly and ask them (we are happy to help you with this if you need assistance).

The other question to ask is how much the insurance will pay for and how much your out-of-pocket cost will be. Invisalign does cost more than traditional braces, and some insurance plans will only cover up to the cost of traditional braces, leaving you responsible for the difference. If you have a flexible spending account, these funds may also be available to pay your out-of-pocket costs for Invisalign.

The cost of Invisalign treatment will vary depending on your unique needs and how much time is needed to move your teeth into their appropriate alignment. To determine how much your treatment will cost and know what to expect in out-of-pocket costs, schedule an appointment with Dr. Narra so that she can perform an evaluation and create a treatment plan.

If you’re concerned about how to fit your out-of-pocket costs into your budget, don’t be. Dr. Narra accepts major credit cards as well as financing plans from Citibank and Care Credit.
